Please appose the dangerous Peru free trade agreement (H.R. 3688). The Peru free trade agreement would implement yet another part of a piecemeal approach to expand the disastrous North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) which has already cost Americans millions of jobs and requires the United States to submit to the rulings of NAFTA arbitration tribunals regarding trade disputes with Mexico and Canada. We must protect U.S. jobs, promote a stable economy, and defend national sovereignty, by rejecting the Peru free trade agreement.

Please appose H.R. 2421 and S. 1870 the Clean Water Restoration Act of 2007. This bill would amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act to clarify jurisdiction over the waters in the United States. It also takes private-owned property and places it under the jurisdiction of the federal government.

Please appose the Presidents Effort to Make the Eavesdropping Bill Permanent. This is an infringement of the fourth Amendment Right to Privacy.

This bill would further federalize the police system by creating a number of federal criminal offenses, including offenses categorized as “gang crimes.” The Gang Abatement Act also poses a threat to the Constitution especially the Second Amendment. The bill’s reference to a misdemeanor “gang related offense” or contempt to a “gang injunction order” are vague, catch-all reason to prohibit persons from exercising their right to own a firearm.

MOVIE GOERS BE WARE OUR CHILDREN ARE IN SERIOUS DANGER

Mark December 7, 2007 on your calendar because this is the day that the diabolical new movie "The Golden Compass" hits the big screen. If you thought the "Harry Potter" phenomena was dangerous that was only the beginning of exposing you children to Satan's evil forces.

1."The writer of the book on which the movie is based is an avowed English atheist, Philip Pullman. He despises Christianity and wrote a trilogy of books ("The Golden Compass" is just one) that openly attack Christianity. In the movie, the heroines are witches, and the enemy is the Church, thinly veiled as an evil organization called the Magisterium.
The theme of all three books is an effort of children to kill God.
The movie teaches children that their souls live outside their bodies as a demon in the form of an animal, whom they must befriend, as a spirit guide. *
* They use the Old English spelling of demon, "daemon," but it means the same and is pronounced the same. That's the way black magicians spell it.
The movie claims that, outside the film's make-believe world, in the real world that we live in, we all have invisible demons that we can befriend. The movie also calls these demons "avatars" ("avatar" is taken from Hinduism and means a god in the flesh). Early in life, the demon continuously changes, because young people have yet to truly experience life. As one gets older, the demon settles into one form and stays with the person until the day they die.
The movie's web site has a sophisticated template that allows kids to "meet their own daemon" by answering 20 questions."

Yesterday, President Bush held a Mideast peace summitt at Annapolis, Md. Mr. Bush was optimistic. It was the first peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians since he took office. What does the Bible say about peace in the middle east in the end times?

SHOULD WE HAVE HOPE AND LOOK FOR THE SECOND COMING OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST?

Websters 1828 dictionary; HOPE, v.t. To desire with expectation of good, or a belief that it may be obtained. Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Faith is not any thing you can touch or see or feel. It says in the Bible that we are to look for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Act 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. 10: And while they looked steadfast toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; 11: Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

IS THE KING JAMES BIBLE COMPREHENDIBLE TO THE LAYMAN?

The KJV and the NIV were subject to the Flesch-Kincaid grade level formula. As it turned out the KJV was considered 5th grade reading level and the NIV was at the 8th grade reading level. The KJV enhances memorization because it uses fewer syllables, and utilize rhyme and rhythm.I believe the word usage in the NIV, NASB, and RSV etc. are substandard.. Reflecting back on my childhood I memorized Bible verses and studied the Bible using the KJV. Yes, it was not easy, but it raised the level of my biblical education. I learned vocabulary words such as supplication, propitiation, predestination and sanctification etc. These are powerful words that minister to the Soul. These words are virtually gone from these new Bible versions.The more I study the King James Bible the easier it becomes. I believe the church today is dumbing down their congregation's.

HOW CAN WE BE READY FOR THE RAPTURE?

If Jesus Christ would come back today for his Church how can we be sure that we are ready?
Titus 2:11: For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, 12: Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; 13: Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 14: Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Redeemed: to deliver from sin
Iniquity: wicked or unjust act.

DOES THE BIBLE CONDEMN HOLLOWEEN?

Since it is October 31 I felt I needed to address the occult practice of Halloween. Some of the name the Bible gave to satan; the great dragon, the serpent of old, lucifer, beelzebub, the devil, the tempter, prince of darkness and many other names the bible calls satan. I Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: I believe he is walking around looking especially for our children. The little innocent ones. This is why it is so important to protect them from this celebration. Leviticus 19:31 Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.
Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11: Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12: For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee.
I Chronicles 10:13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to inquire of it; 14: And inquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

Sometimes we as believers tend not to adhere to these warnings in the Bible. I know I allowed my children to trick or treat a few times thinking they are missing out on the fun the other children were having. It is hard to say what dangers or influence this had on there lives. I confess it and ask God to forgive me of my sin. It is never to late to repent. I suggest you find an alternative like bowling or a trip to the park or zoo.

PRE-TRIBULATION, MID-TRIBULATION OR POST-TRIBULATION?

At one point in my walk with the Lord Jesus Christ I became concerned about the Tribulation. Is there going to be Pre-Trib, Mid-Trib, or Post-Trib? I was reminded of Noah and the Ark. Genesis 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6: And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7: And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. 8: But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Verse 8 give the answer Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. Today the world is full of evil just like it was in the days of Noah and God saved Noah and his family because. Genesis 6:9 Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.

Another example was Lot (Abraham's brothers son)living in Sodom and Gomorrah.The complete story begins at Genesis 18:20 And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; ---Genesis 19:29 And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow, when he overthrew the cities in the which Lot dwelt. I believe this is an example of how God saved these families from destruction and he will protect us in the same way. I Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Yes, I believe in the Pre-tribulation Rapture.

IS THE RAPTURE AND THE SECOND COMMING OF CHRIST ONE AND THE SAME?

The Rapture: I Thessalonians 4:16 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air,

The Second Coming of Christ: Revelation 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. 12: His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. 13: And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. 14: And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

I believe the Born Again believers are covered by the shed blood of Jesus and are in heaven at this time. They were caught up at the time of the Rapture. The armies of Raptured Saints then follow Jesus on the white horse back to earth for the final battle. These Saints are clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Revelation 19:15: And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16: And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 17: And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18: That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. 19: And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20: And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21: And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

IS RAPTURE OF THE SAINTS SPOKEN OF IN THE BIBLE?

Before I can answer this question I believe it is important to understand that the Bible is the word of God. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discern er of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Does God speak to us today? Hebrew 1: God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, 2: Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; God spoke to us in times past through the prophets and now he speaks to us through his word the Bible. Believing it and following it is an act of faith. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

The word Rapture was derived from the Latin verb rapere which means "to transport from one place to another". Possibly the next great scheduled event predicted in the Bible will happen when the Lord Jesus Christ appears in the Clouds and takes his followers home to be with him.

I Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 15: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 16: For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 18: Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
